Horatio Harbour Tours

English Harbour's only dedicated boat tour.

Guided Dockyard tours from the sea!

Guided tours around the beautiful and historic UNESCO English Harbour and Nelsons Dockyard. As the only dedicated boat tour, you will have the opportunity to view some of the best super yachts in the world; the Historic Dockyard from the sea; history and wildlife including sea turtles, birds, dolphins if visiting, close up views of the environmentally import mangroves; and the beautiful Pillars of Hercules. Enjoy views towards the island of Monserrat and its active volcano, and when clear enough, the French Island of Guadeloupe.

The tour will include the opportunity to try ‘Grog’, the British Navy rum based drink that all sailors had to drink twice a day until 1970.

Tours start every 45 minutes from the Super Yacht Dock near the Copper and Lumber historic building in Nelsons Dockyard.

The commentary will be in English with plans to provide translations in several other languages via smartphones.

HORATIO

Built in the UK in 1979, Horatio used to be a lifeboat aboard a Korean ship, licensed for 61 passengers. Donated to English Harbour 20 years ago, the ship was used for tours until damaged in a storm and subsequently spent 10 years immersed in the mangroves. Horatio was recovered in 2021, lovingly and beautifully restored, and now comfortably holds 18+ passengers per tour. Horatio was Admiral Lord Nelson's first name!
